Procedures

Coronary Angiogram (Cardiac Catheterization)

A minimally invasive procedure that uses a thin, flexible tube (catheter) inserted into an artery to examine the heart’s blood vessels. A special dye is injected, and X-ray images are taken to check for blockages or narrowing in the arteries.

Coronary Stenting

A procedure used to open narrowed or blocked heart arteries. A small mesh tube (stent) is placed inside the artery to keep it open, restoring proper blood flow and reducing the risk of heart attack.

Peripheral Angiogram

A diagnostic test that checks blood flow in the arteries outside the heart, usually in the legs. A catheter and contrast dye are used to detect blockages or narrowing that can cause pain, poor circulation, or leg cramps.

Venous Ablation

A treatment for varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. Heat or a special solution is used to close off damaged veins, redirecting blood flow to healthier veins and improving circulation.

Venous Stenting

A procedure to treat blocked or narrowed veins by placing a small metal stent inside the vein. This helps improve blood flow and prevent complications such as swelling, leg pain, or deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Loop Recorder Insertion

A minimally invasive procedure in which a small implantable cardiac monitor (loop recorder) is placed under the skin of the chest. This device continuously records the heart’s electrical activity to detect and diagnose irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias) that may not be captured by short-term monitoring methods.
